F25AS00105: Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act FY 2025
This funding opportunity supports a variety of organizations in conducting research and restoration projects that improve fish and wildlife resources in the Great Lakes Basin.
The Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act (GLFWRA) FY 2025 Grant by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service supports conservation, restoration, and research projects for fish and wildlife in the Great Lakes Basin. With a total fund of $1.64 million, awards range from $2,000 to $500,000, with restoration and research projects typically funded between $10,000 and $250,000, and Regional Project awards ranging from $200,000 to $500,000. Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments, local and state governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, small businesses, and other organizations in the Great Lakes Basin. Applications are due by January 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST through GrantSolutions. Selected projects that demonstrate significant ecological impact or habitat enhancement will be awarded in summer 2025. Proposals undergo initial review by the GLFWRA Proposal Review Committee (PRC), and successful applicants are invited to submit full proposals.
