LaGrange County Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Assistance Grants

The Nonprofit Assistance Grants program, administered by the LaGrange County Community Foundation, provides targeted support for nonprofit organizations operating within LaGrange County, Indiana. The Foundation aims to strengthen local nonprofits by addressing specific needs not typically covered through general operating funds. The overarching mission of the Foundation is to promote the well-being of the community through resource allocation, philanthropic partnerships, and strategic investments in nonprofit infrastructure. This grant program allows eligible LaGrange County nonprofits to apply for up to $2,500 in funding. Eligibility for the Nonprofit Assistance Grants is limited to nonprofit organizations physically located in LaGrange County. Government agencies, public schools, and religious institutions such as churches are not eligible to apply. The application process is facilitated entirely through the Foundation’s online grants portal. Applicants must prepare and upload two key documents in PDF format as part of their submission: a detailed project or program budget that outlines all sources of revenue and expected expenses for the request, and a current list of the organization’s board of directors. These materials help the Foundation evaluate organizational readiness, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with the grant's intent.
