The Foundation does not fund individuals, non-health related programming, religious organizations for sectarian purposes, parent-teacher organizations, sports teams, capital campaigns, political activities, or fundraising events. -The Foundation encourages eligible organizations to apply by submitting a one-page letter of intent. Formal applications, upon invitation, should include detailed project descriptions, budgets, and organizational information. Funding decisions are made based on recommendations by a committee of Blue Cross employees and the Foundation's board of directors.
