Early Career Research Awards for the Study of the Economics of AD/ADRD

The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is offering five EC-READ grants to support early-career scholars in researching economic aspects of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). These grants aim to promote research on prevention, treatment, and care for individuals living with dementia. Eligible applicants are early-stage investigators who have completed their graduate training in the last decade and have not served as Principal Investigators on NIH research grants. Each award will cover up to $50,000 in direct costs and recipients will be paired with a mentor from the Consortium. The application deadline is January 16, 2025, and successful applicants will be notified in March 2025.
