Clean Energy Communities Program (PON 3298)
This program provides funding and support to local governments in New York State to implement clean energy initiatives that promote economic growth and environmental sustainability.
The Clean Energy Communities (CEC) program by NYSERDA assists municipalities in New York State in adopting clean energy actions to benefit from the clean energy economy. The program offers grants, technical assistance, and support for implementing high-impact clean energy actions, helping municipalities save money, grow the local economy, and improve the environment. Municipalities can earn points by completing various high-impact actions and use these points to access grant funding. The program runs until December 31, 2025, or until funds are exhausted. Eligible applicants are county, city, town, or village governments in New York State.
