The Henderson Silver Knights Foundation, the charitable branch of the Vegas Golden Knights’ American Hockey League affiliate, focuses on giving back to the community, particularly within the City of Henderson. Through their grant program, the Foundation aims to support local non-profit organizations and amplify their impact in the community.
The 2025 Henderson Silver Knights Foundation Grant Application invites qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations located in Henderson or its surrounding areas to apply for community grants. The Foundation will award up to $10,000 to selected applicants, although receiving the maximum amount is not guaranteed. Organizations are allowed to submit only one application per grant cycle. All funding awarded must be utilized within one year of receipt.
Grant applications opened on March 10th and will close on April 30th. Selected organizations will be notified by June 13th. The Foundation plans to award at least one grant but reserves the right to issue additional grants based on capacity and discretion. Certain types of requests are excluded from consideration, such as general operating costs, sponsorships, third-party requests, and activities related to political, religious, or special interest groups. Organizations that may conflict with the goals or affiliations of the Silver Knights are also ineligible.
The application process includes detailed questions about the organization’s mission, the specific funding request, expected program outcomes, and collaboration opportunities. Organizations must upload several documents, including their 501(c)(3) determination letter, their most recent 990, audited financial statements, current organizational budget, and a list of board members. There is also an option to upload additional supporting documents.
