Arts in Community Grant Program 2025

The City of Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission (LCAC) invites applications from Lafayette artists and arts organizations to support arts and/or culture-related projects. Donor Name: City of Lafayette State: Colorado City: Lafayette Type of Grant: Grant Deadline: 09/08/2024 Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000 Grant Duration: Less than 1 Year Details: Projects that fund the artistic practice of one individual will not be funded unless there is a strong case made for the public, community benefit. LCAC’s mission is to promote, nurture and celebrate the visual, performing, cultural and language arts in Lafayette, Colorado by connecting artists, building partnerships, and enhancing and supporting diversity Funding Information Awards are usually $2,000 or less. Project Period Projects must be completed between January 1, 2025, to December 14, 2025. Evaluation Criteria Each grant will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Project quality and projected impact and success Thoroughness of application Budget: comprehensive and reasonable Type and quality of programs and services offered Demonstrated need for support Quantity and quality of impact to community (participant numbers and depth of impact taken into consideration) How the project increases arts and cultural arts access to community members Supporting LCAC’s mission and goal to support diversity by empowering historically underserved populations Project’s alignment with LCAC’s IDEA Framework For more information, visit City of Lafayette.
