The Gender Reveal Grant & Mutual Aid Programs support trans people of color through direct funding for community, artistic, and organizing initiatives. Administered by Gender Reveal, an independent media and mutual aid collective, this grant program is part of their mission to uplift trans voices and support projects that foster gender diversity and inclusion. The initiative is backed entirely by donations and the Gender Reveal Patreon community, with additional contributions encouraged to expand the number of awards. The 2025 grant cycle invites applications for projects led by trans people of color. While the program considers early-stage ideas, preference is given to proposals that are already in progress or established, such as mutual aid collectives or ongoing community efforts. Thematic priorities include supporting trans communities, people of color, and other marginalized groups, as well as promoting exploration and celebration of gender diversity and trans lives. Applicants from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, provided the projects are led by individuals or groups with a majority of trans people of color. Both individuals and collectives are encouraged to submit proposals. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 31, 2025. All submissions are reviewed by a panel composed of trans judges of color, who will select recipients based on alignment with the grant's mission and authenticity. Recipients of the 2025 grant cycle will be announced by December 31, 2025. Due to the high volume of submissions, only selected applicants will be contacted. The program has instituted additional verification steps to guard against fraudulent or inauthentic applications and specifically rejects any applications that are clearly AI-generated.
