Business Promotion Program

The Business Promotion Program offers up to $5,000 per event for the promotion of business collaboration among Danville-based brick and mortar businesses and local organizations. The program aims to encourage the community to 'shop local' by supporting multiple businesses collaborating on a single event or project. The Town Council has allocated $25,000 to this grant program, which is intended to reimburse eligible businesses for marketing, catering, or certain event costs after expenditures are made. Applications are currently being accepted for events and projects planned for the 2025 calendar year, with grants awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. A new category allows business owners to apply for a $100 grant for digital marketing, which can be used for website updates, online promotions, and social media advertising.
