United Way of Licking County (UWLC) will begin accepting applications for its 2026 Community Impact Funding Cycle on April 28, 2025. This grant opportunity focuses on directing local resources to address core community issues within Licking County, Ohio. The funding is aimed at improving outcomes in three key areas: Behavioral Health, Children, Youth, & Families, and Poverty. Through a competitive application process, UWLC seeks to support programs that align with these focus areas and demonstrate measurable community impact.
UWLC is a local chapter of the national United Way organization, dedicated to enhancing lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. It strategically invests in services that address the most pressing local needs, as identified through ongoing community assessments. By targeting high-priority issues, the organization ensures that donor contributions achieve the greatest possible benefit for residents of Licking County.
The application process is entirely online and must be submitted through the e-C Impact portal. To assist applicants, a training session will be held on May 15, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. This session is designed to prepare applicants to successfully navigate the application system and submit all required materials. Training materials from a previous session in April 2023 are also available for review.
The deadline to submit applications is June 6, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. Applicants must be tax-exempt nonprofit or government organizations operating in or serving Licking County. All required attachments must also be submitted via the online portal. There is no indication of rolling deadlines or recurring funding cycles beyond this announcement.
