Youth Neighborhood Association Partnership Program
This grant provides funding for youth aged 8 to 18 in Las Vegas to lead and implement community service projects that positively impact their neighborhoods.
The Youth Neighborhood Association Partnership Program (YNAPP) is a city initiative developed to empower young residents of Las Vegas, Nevada by providing them with financial support to lead community service projects. The program is designed to encourage youth engagement, civic responsibility, and leadership development among local children and teens. Managed by the city of Las Vegas, YNAPP provides mini-grants of up to $2,000 to support youth-led projects that directly benefit local neighborhoods through service-learning activities. The program targets youth participants between the ages of 8 and 18, who are affiliated with neighborhood associations, educational institutions, faith-based groups, or social organizations. Projects must be conceptualized and executed by youth leaders with the aim of making a meaningful, positive impact in their communities. Eligible project types include creating care packages, organizing community cleanups, producing murals or other public art, initiating reading initiatives, constructing Little Free Libraries, or offering services to the homeless. Applications are reviewed annually by the YNAPP Grant Review Board, a designated panel responsible for evaluating the merit and feasibility of each proposal. The program requires that all awardees enter into a formal contract with the city, committing to the outlined scope of their project. Recipients are also obligated to submit monthly progress reports to maintain transparency and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Technical support is offered to successful applicants by city staff, who provide guidance and oversight during project implementation. While not mandatory, the city strongly recommends that first-time applicants attend one of the annual applicant workshops to better understand the application process and expectations. For the 2025-2026 cycle, workshops were held virtually on September 17 and in-person on September 16. The online application portal for the 2025β2026 YNAPP grant cycle opened on August 18 and will remain open until October 30, 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official ZoomGrants link to submit their proposals. For those who were unable to attend the workshops, a recording is available by request through program contact Tara Manor. This grant is tailored specifically for Las Vegas-based initiatives and promotes youth empowerment through actionable neighborhood service. The city of Las Vegas continues to invest in future generations by providing a structured platform for youth to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
