Funding is intended for non-law enforcement activities, and eligible expenses include costs related to personnel, training, and program implementation. Eligibility is limited to U.S. and overseas non-governmental organizations (NGOs), institutions of higher education, and public international organizations (PIOs). Belizean NGOs are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a commitment to non-discrimination and adhere to equal opportunity practices. Cost sharing is not required but is permitted if applicants choose to include it in their proposals.
Applications must be submitted through Grants.gov and include specific documents such as a cover sheet, detailed budget, monitoring and evaluation plan, and project narrative.
