This grant opportunity is designed to support organizations that serve priority populations, including African Americans, individuals with behavioral health conditions, Latinx and Hispanic communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of low socio-economic status, Medicaid beneficiaries, rural populations, and tribal communities/American Indians. The selected organizations will focus on developing tailored messages, implementing effective programs, and fostering collaborative partnerships to address the unique challenges these populations face in quitting tobacco use.
Eligible applicants must be community-based organizations operating within Arizona. These organizations should have experience or demonstrated capacity in delivering health-related education, outreach, and cessation services targeting disproportionately affected communities. Funding will be awarded to entities that can effectively leverage community partnerships to address tobacco control comprehensively.
