RFGA2025-011 Community Innovations in Commercial Tobacco Control

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), through its Arizona Tobacco Control Program (ATCP), is offering grant funding to community organizations in Arizona to provide prevention, education, and cessation services related to commercial tobacco and electronic nicotine use. This initiative aligns with ATCP’s Five-Year Strategic Plan (2022-2026) and seeks to reduce tobacco use among populations most disproportionately affected by commercial tobacco consumption. The ultimate goal of this program is to move Arizona towards a future free of commercial tobacco use through community-driven efforts. The selected organizations will focus on developing tailored messages, implementing effective programs, and fostering collaborative partnerships to address the unique challenges these populations face in quitting tobacco use. Eligible applicants must be community-based organizations operating within Arizona. These organizations should have experience or demonstrated capacity in delivering health-related education, outreach, and cessation services targeting disproportionately affected communities. Funding will be awarded to entities that can effectively leverage community partnerships to address tobacco control comprehensively. Applications open on March 5, 2025, and must be submitted by April 17, 2025.
