Each organization may submit only one grant request and one sponsorship request within a twelve-month period. Sponsorships, which must be submitted through the Foundation’s online grants portal, are reviewed separately and require submission at least three months before the proposed event. Funding requests are evaluated based on alignment with funding priorities, organizational strength, and the discretion of the Foundation’s board and staff. The application process is conducted entirely online through the Foundation’s grant request system. Applications for the spring cycle are due by February 15 at 5:00 PM CST, and applications for the fall cycle are due by August 15 at 5:00 PM CST. If the deadline falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the application is due the following business day. Grant decisions are communicated in May for the spring cycle and in November for the fall cycle. Sponsorship requests are generally reviewed within two to four weeks of submission. In 2025, areas marked for prioritization include education policy and reform, homeless prevention, behavioral health, Oklahoma journalism, and workforce development.
