Head, Heart and Hands of Indian River Club Issues in Florida
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations in Indian River County, Florida, to support initiatives that address critical community issues such as education, health, homelessness, and environmental challenges.
Head, Heart and Hands of Indian River Club (HHH-IRC) is an initiative supported by the members and residents of the Indian River Club in Florida. The organization functions as a philanthropic entity seeking to address a range of community issues within Indian River County. By issuing annual Requests for Proposals (RFPs), HHH-IRC aims to invest in organizations that deliver meaningful social impact through well-defined and efficiently managed programs. The primary objective of the HHH-IRC 2025โ2026 grant cycle is to fund initiatives that improve community outcomes across eight key areas: education and training, youth activities, homelessness and family issues, health (physical and mental), senior needs, cultural programs, environmental challenges, and scientific research. These focus areas are carefully selected to reflect urgent local priorities and unmet needs. Grant support is not available for initiatives that are religious or political in nature, capital campaigns, endowment drives, or projects that have already been completed. However, funding may be used for the development of new programs, the expansion of existing ones, general program support, or for specific capital projects that are not part of broader campaigns. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with current IRS 501(c)(3) status serving Indian River County. In addition, they must have a financial review or audit conducted by a certified public accountant (CPA) for their most recent fiscal year, and maintain at least a Silver rating on GuideStar.org. Organizations that do not meet all these eligibility criteria will be disqualified from consideration. The application process begins with the submission of a Letter of Idea (LOI), which must be received by August 29, 2025. Organizations with compelling LOIs will be invited by October 1, 2025 to submit full proposals and participate in a brief information session at the Indian River Clubhouse in mid-October. Final applications are due by November 28, 2025. All submissions must be made electronically via the Indian River Community Foundationโs website at ircommunityfoundation.org. Applicants may also be asked to make oral presentations or accommodate site visits during the evaluation phase. Award announcements will be made no later than March 1, 2026. Grant proposals will be assessed competitively and must demonstrate how they address unmet community needs in a cost-effective and sustainable manner. Proposals should reference the most recent Indian River County Community Needs Assessment and provide supporting data to substantiate the identified gaps and target populations. Efficiency will be judged by factors such as volunteer involvement, cost-benefit analysis, agency collaboration, and future sustainability. Additional weight will be given to programs serving South Indian River County, particularly in zip codes 32962 and 32968. Funded organizations are required to submit a final impact report detailing both financial expenditures and measurable outcomes resulting from the grant. Applicants must also agree in writing to keep their information up to date between submission and award decisions, use funds exclusively for their intended purposes, and comply with all reporting requirements. For any questions regarding eligibility or the application process, applicants are encouraged to contact Paul Pronsky at pronskypaul@gmail.com.
