The Ohio Valley Jaycees Charitable Fund is a fund operating under the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley. This organization supports charitable, educational, and community-serving initiatives, with a commitment to promoting the well-being of residents within specific counties in Ohio and West Virginia.
For the 2025 grant cycle, applications are accepted from April 28 through May 23. The Jaycees Fund awards between $5,000 and $10,000 to qualifying organizations. These grants are intended to support organizations that provide services in Ohio County and Marshall County in West Virginia, as well as Belmont County in Ohio. The fund aims to foster community improvement and enrichment through projects led by eligible nonprofit entities.
Applicants must be recognized as 501(c)(3) organizations classified as public charities under Code Section 509(a). Eligible applicants include charitable, religious, and educational organizations, school districts, public libraries, and other government-affiliated entities. For organizations without this tax status, partnering with a nonprofit fiscal agent is permitted. Grants are not made to individuals or for-profit ventures.
All applications must be submitted via email to apply@jayceesfund.org. The subject line must contain only the organization’s name, with no additional words or phrases. Applicants must refrain from altering the application, submitting photos, or including any supporting materials. Failure to adhere strictly to these submission guidelines will result in disqualification. Only one application is allowed per organization per cycle, and late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
Applicants are notified of the board’s funding decision within thirty days of the application deadline. Successful grantees are required to submit a final or interim grant report to complete the funding cycle and remain eligible for future awards. The fund does not provide rolling applications, and this grant opportunity occurs annually in the spring.
