Grant Description

Jobber Grants is an annual funding initiative launched by Jobber, a platform that provides business management software for home service professionals. Established in 2021, the Jobber Grants program aims to recognize and support excellence among blue-collar entrepreneurs who deliver residential or commercial services that are essential to keeping homes and businesses running efficiently. With a clear focus on practical, service-based operations like HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, mobile car detailing, and window cleaning, the program offers monetary support and mentorship to help these businesses grow and thrive. In 2026, Jobber Grants will distribute a total of $250,000 to nine outstanding home service business owners across the U.S. and Canada (excluding Québec). Awards are structured across several tiers: one recipient will receive a $100,000 grant, another will receive $50,000, two businesses will receive $25,000 each, and five recipients will be granted $10,000 each. In addition to financial support, all nine grant recipients will be invited to an exclusive in-person business retreat, with expenses covered, where they will receive mentorship and strategic advice—including sessions with entrepreneur Daymond John. The application process is structured in multiple phases to streamline participation. Phase 1 is a brief submission asking applicants to describe their business and the impact they have. This phase remains open through June 11, 2026. Eligible applicants from Phase 1 will be invited to submit a more comprehensive Phase 2 application, running from June 17 to June 24, 2026. This second phase gathers further details about the business's growth plans, leadership, and community contributions. A judging panel will then review applications and online presence data in early June to select finalists. Those chosen will proceed to a final round of interviews in mid-July, with final grant recipients announced in August 2026. Eligibility is limited to U.S. and Canadian residents (excluding Québec) who are 18 years or older and operate or intend to launch a blue-collar business. These businesses must provide on-site services such as maintenance, repair, or installations. Retail-based businesses, online-only enterprises, or those operating from brick-and-mortar storefronts are not eligible. There are no requirements for applicants to repay the grants, and recipients are free to use the funds in ways that best support their business growth—whether for equipment purchases, workforce expansion, marketing, or training programs. Jobber emphasizes excellence not as perfection, but as demonstrated impact across four core themes: Home Service Heroes who ensure safety and function in homes and workplaces, Career Builders fostering employment opportunities, Smooth Operators embracing innovation, and Community Caretakers giving back to local neighborhoods. These thematic pillars guide the selection process, helping highlight small business owners who exemplify these values. All communications regarding application status and program updates will be conducted via email. Applicants will receive confirmation upon submission and may contact the Jobber Grants team at [email protected] with any further questions. Recipients will be notified by July 31, 2026. The coaching retreat will be held in Fall 2026, rounding out a comprehensive support program that combines funding, mentorship, and community recognition.
