Pro Bono Program 2025
This initiative provides complimentary executive search services to U.S.-based nonprofit organizations in the arts and culture sector, helping them enhance their leadership capacity.
DRG Talent LLC is offering its 2025 Pro Bono Program, an initiative designed to support nonprofit organizations operating in the arts and culture sector through complimentary executive search services. Since launching its first pro bono executive search in 2019, DRG has aimed to bolster the leadership capacity of purpose-driven organizations. The 2025 program will continue this mission by selecting one nonprofit in the arts and culture space to receive comprehensive search services, including salary benchmarking, without charge. DRG has nearly four decades of experience collaborating with nonprofits to align their recruitment strategies with organizational culture and mission. The firm’s services include executive search, organizational consulting, and talent infrastructure support. For this pro bono opportunity, DRG will customize the recruitment approach, ensuring alignment with the selected organization’s leadership needs. This also includes making the job posting public with an approved salary range, emphasizing DRG's commitment to transparency and equity in the hiring process. The program specifically targets nonprofits that are based in the United States and operate within the arts and culture sector. This includes organizations such as performing arts groups, museums, media institutions, cultural organizations, and community art centers. To qualify, applicant organizations must not have previously worked with DRG, nor be under contract with any other executive search firm at the time of application. Only complete submissions will be considered, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are required to publicly share the executive search details, including the compensation range, which must be pre-approved by their board or relevant leadership. This requirement underscores DRG’s emphasis on transparency and governance alignment. The selected nonprofit will be notified by August 11, 2025. All applications must be submitted by July 25, 2025. DRG has appointed several key team members to oversee the program, including Nina Cogan (ncogan@drgtalent.com), Dave Yi (dyi@drgtalent.com), and Alessa Lacarta (alacarta@drgtalent.com). These individuals are available to address inquiries related to the application process. There is no specific application form or question list disclosed in the opportunity announcement, and applicants are encouraged to reach out with questions via email. This initiative offers an important opportunity for arts and culture nonprofits to access strategic talent support that may otherwise be financially inaccessible. Interested organizations are advised to prepare their submissions carefully and ensure compliance with all eligibility requirements. The program reflects DRG’s broader mission of supporting equity and leadership development in the nonprofit sector.
