Eligible applicants may apply for grants up to $100,000, with funding available in time for spring 2025 planting. The program prioritizes four areas: community mobilization of tree advocates, tree planting, maintenance, and educational initiatives to raise awareness of the importance of tree coverage in urban spaces. Community groups, nonprofits, and other stakeholders are encouraged to participate.
Interested applicants can join a virtual information session on October 28 for additional guidance on the application process and program goals.
