Grant Description

The City of Medford has announced the availability of funding for the 2025–2027 General Fund Grant (GFG) program through Request for Proposals RFP25-006-PLN. This biennial funding cycle is focused on supporting nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies that provide essential safety net services to residents of Medford, Oregon. The GFG program is administered by the Medford Planning Department’s Housing and Community Development Division. The total estimated funding available for the 2025–2027 biennium is $265,300. The grant is intended to support a broad range of critical social services, including emergency care, rape crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, job training, budget counseling, legal services, women and children’s shelter, homelessness support, rental and move-in assistance, nutrition programs, mental and physical healthcare, domestic violence victim support, senior and youth services, and child care. To apply, applicants must be either qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or governmental agencies. All applications must be submitted electronically via an online Qualtrics application link, which is specified in the full RFP. Paper, email, or faxed applications will not be accepted. Applicants must also participate in a mandatory presentation before the City’s Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC) on either Tuesday, November 11, 2025, or Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The proposal due date is Friday, October 24, 2025, by 10:00 p.m. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., and will be answered within a week.
