Arts Learning Express Grant
This funding opportunity supports individuals and organizations in Nevada to provide short-term arts education programs that enhance access to the arts for underserved communities.
The Arts Learning Express Grant – Cycle B, administered by the Nevada Arts Council, supports short-term arts education programming across the state of Nevada. Designed to be flexible and accessible, this grant is available to individuals on the Nevada Arts Council Teaching Artist Roster, nonprofit organizations, and public institutions committed to providing high-quality arts learning opportunities. This opportunity is structured to assist grantees with project-based work carried out between January 1 and June 30, 2026. The primary goal of the Arts Learning Express Grant is to enhance access to arts education through programming that may include workshops, residencies, or other instructional activities. All proposed projects must align with the Council's focus on providing impactful, equitable, and inclusive learning experiences through the arts. Applicants must ensure their programming adheres to federal and state legal frameworks, including non-discrimination, accessibility, and appropriate handling of federally supported content and personnel. Cycle B applications will open on November 1, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. PST, and will be accepted on a rolling basis. However, all applications must be submitted at least 30 days before the proposed project start date. This rolling application process is contingent upon the availability of funds. Projects cannot commence until approval has been granted, and applicants are advised to apply as early as possible to ensure consideration. All submissions must be completed in English through the Nevada Arts Council’s online grants management system. Applicants must adhere to various state and federal compliance requirements, including financial tracking, document retention, and audit readiness. Grantees are also expected to comply with environmental, historic preservation, accessibility, and anti-discrimination policies as set forth by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of Nevada. Matching funds are not required, and indirect costs may be included if an approved federal rate exists or by using a de minimis rate. This grant opportunity reflects the Nevada Arts Council’s commitment to fostering culturally relevant arts learning experiences throughout Nevada. It particularly encourages programs that are accessible to students, communities, and participants who have been historically underserved by the arts sector.
