The Daniels Fund Grants Program
This funding opportunity supports nonprofit organizations that create a positive impact in their communities through programs focused on areas such as education, youth development, addiction prevention, and services for the aging and disadvantaged across several Western states.
The Daniels Fund provides support to highly effective nonprofit organizations that demonstrate a significant impact in their communities. Grants are awarded for specific programs or projects, general operating support, or capital campaigns across different regions including the Colorado Front Range, Utah, Colorado Outstate, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Funding areas include Aging, Amateur Sports, Disabilities, Drug & Alcohol Addiction, Early Childhood Education, Homeless & Disadvantaged, K-12 Education Reform, and Youth Development. In Colorado Outstate and Wyoming, the focus is on youth programs, community facilities, addiction prevention and treatment, and collaborative initiatives. In New Mexico, the strategy is centered on increasing the number of quality choice K-12 seats available to students. Unsolicited applications are not accepted in New Mexico. These funding areas reflect the founder, Bill Daniels', personal priorities and remain constant.
