Community Foundation Grant

The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation, affiliated with the American Hockey League's Hartford Wolf Pack, is now accepting grant applications for the 2025–26 season. As a charitable entity, the Foundation is committed to supporting programs that benefit inner-city youth and youth amateur sports within Connecticut. In the prior grant cycle (2024–25), the Foundation awarded over $36,000 in funding to five different organizations, highlighting its focused commitment to community development through sports and youth engagement. Eligible organizations must submit a grant application form, available on the team’s official website under the Fanzone tab. Completed forms are to be emailed directly to Alex Thomas and Alyssa Pacewicz at their respective Oak View Group addresses. Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 15, 2025. The application form requests standard organizational details such as leadership contacts, geographic service area, employee demographics, and ethnic/gender representation among staff and board members. Applicants are required to specify the intended use of funds, referencing the particular budget line items the grant will support. A clear explanation of the project's purpose, timeline, and measurable outcomes must be included. Narrative requirements cover organizational history, mission, current programming, population served, volunteer engagement, interagency collaboration, and the project’s uniqueness. Applicants must provide a detailed purpose statement, program goals, activities, and long-term funding strategy. Evaluation plans with at least two measurable outcomes must also be articulated, along with how findings will be used. Required attachments include the specific budget for the requested project, overall organizational budget, IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, funding source list, organizational chart, and a board membership list. Grants are limited to qualified charitable organizations operating in Connecticut, with emphasis on youth-oriented initiatives. Award amounts may vary and are determined based on the scope and need of each request. The performance period depends on the project's timeline as defined by the applicant.
