Areas of Interest: Nonprofit organizations serving LaGrange County can apply in six areas of interest: Arts & Culture, Health & Human Services, Recreation, Environment, Community Development, and Education. Additional Information: - The Foundation does not typically award grants for operating support but may consider such requests on a case-by-case basis. - Organizations in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status can apply if their project is currently sponsored by a qualified 501(c)(3) organization. - State-supported educational institutions or government entities can apply for grants but must provide a letter indicating their tax status and federal tax ID number. - One-on-one consultations with the Grants Manager are available to learn about the process and ask questions. - Organizations can apply for a grant once per year. - The Community Foundation supports specific capital projects and capacity-building projects to improve nonprofit organizations' fundraising.
