Under the Tourism Promotion Grant for Non-Profits, eligible organizations can apply for funding in various categories, including Arts & Culture ($1,200 per project), Community Celebrations ($1,200 per project), Promotions & Marketing ($5,000 per project), Capital Improvements ($5,000 per project), and Major Capital Improvements ($25,000 per project). Major Capital Improvement grants are limited to one or two large-scale projects and require additional documentation.
The Tourism Business Development Grants are designed to support tourism-related businesses with funding opportunities in specific categories. These include Code Compliance Assistance ($1,000 per project), Business Cooperative Promotions & Marketing ($2,500 per project), and Lodging Business Capital Improvement ($10,000 per project). These grants aim to enhance the quality and sustainability of businesses that contribute to the tourism sector in Delaware County.
Applications for the 2025 funding cycle are due no later than 5:00 PM EST on February 28, 2025. Eligible applicants must submit their proposals in accordance with the application guidelines, which are available for download on the Delaware County Economic Development website.
