The Russell County Area Community Foundation (RCACF) is currently accepting applications for its Spring Grant Cycle, with online applications due by March 30, 2025. A total of $50,000 is available to support charitable community improvement projects within Russell County. This funding cycle prioritizes initiatives that enhance education, healthcare, social services, conservation efforts, the arts, community beautification, and public safety.
Projects eligible for funding must align with at least one of the following focus areas:
Programs that address education, healthcare, social services, security, conservation, environment, arts, culture, and beautification.
Initiatives that improve the health and well-being of children in Russell County.
Programs aiding preschool and grade school students in Russell County who need financial assistance for their education.
Projects benefiting students in Russell schools that are not part of a schoolโs standard budget.
Programs that enhance public health and safety in the community.
Funding for this grant cycle is provided by multiple sources, including the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Kansas Health Foundation, the Helen A. Hampl Student Aid Fund, the Russell Schools Apple Seed Fund, and the Russell Area Health Fund.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, government and public entities, educational institutions, and churches. All applications must be submitted online via www.rcacf.org by March 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
