Huntington Common Charitable Fund

The Huntington Common Charitable Fund, managed by Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation since 2006, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults in York County, Maine. This fund supports programs across various needs, including nutrition, wellness, dementia care, therapeutics, and access to the arts, helping older adults lead complete and fulfilled lives. The fund was established with the proceeds from the sale of the Huntington Common Retirement Living Community and reflects Kennebunk Savings' commitment to community service, particularly for the aging population. Nonprofits such as Southern Maine Agency on Aging, Hospice of Southern Maine, and York Hospital have benefited from the fund. Proposals from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations offering programs that enhance the lives of older adults in York County are actively sought, with quarterly grant submission deadlines.
