The program has an annual funding pool of up to $30,000, with individual awards typically capped at $3,000. Larger grants may be considered in special cases with program manager approval. Recipients must use awarded funds within one calendar year of approval. While matching funds are not required, applications showing additional support from the applicant's organization or project partners may be more competitive.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are fully awarded, with review periods continuing until December 31, 2024, or until the fund is depleted. The first application review period closed on April 15, 2024, and additional applications will be reviewed continuously.
