The Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia Grant

The Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia offers Community Grants through its local affiliates in Whitfield, Bartow, and Gordon Counties. These grants support qualified nonprofit organizations working across multiple focus areas, including Arts & Culture, Civics, Education, Social Services, Historic Preservation, and Environmental initiatives. The Fall Cycle, open to organizations serving Gordon and Whitfield Counties, begins on September 1 and closes on October 31 each year. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $4,000 per grant. Eligible applicants must be based in or directly serving the populations of Gordon or Whitfield Counties. Each affiliate directs its own funding decisions, ensuring that grants respond to specific local needs. These are competitive grants and require organizations to submit applications that align with the Foundation’s broad charitable priorities.
