Community Promotions Program

The City of Santa Rosa administers the Event Support Program to provide funding assistance for events that contribute meaningfully to the community’s cultural vibrancy and public service goals. Reimbursement is only provided up to the amount awarded, and all supported events must be able to document their expenditures and submit receipts with their post-event report. The application process requires all submissions to be completed online during the designated application period. The next cycle of funding opens on April 1, 2026, and will cover events scheduled between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. Awarded applicants must complete a W9 form before funds can be disbursed. A mandatory Post-Event Report must be submitted within 30 days after the event, documenting how funds were spent, the attendance figures, and how the event fulfilled its intended community service or cultural goals. All funded events must also comply with local, state, and federal laws and must secure any required permits, insurance, or certifications.
