The Vernier Science Education Inspiration Grants program recognizes innovative STEM educators in the United States who are using or planning to use Vernier technology to creatively engage students in hands-on science learning. This program awards ten grants annually to eligible educators at middle school, high school, and college levels who demonstrate a commitment to inspiring scientific curiosity and building STEM literacy among their students.
Each selected grantee will receive $1,000 worth of Vernier technology, a one-year license for the Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro app, and three hours of virtual professional development. The program is open to all qualifying educators, regardless of whether they are current Vernier customers, but applicants must not have previously received a Vernier grant. All applicants must secure a formal endorsement from a building administrator or department head before submitting their application.
The grants aim to support creative, meaningful, and accessible STEM instruction that integrates Vernier tools in ways that enhance student learning and engagement. The selection committee, consisting of educators and Vernier staff, evaluates submissions based on proposed use of Vernier technology, alignment with student needs, and the overall impact on classroom instruction.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on November 30, 2025. All entries must be submitted via the online application form and include responses to detailed prompts regarding instructional plans, technology use, and implementation strategies. Grantees will be notified of their award status by January 6, 2026.
