National Peer-Run Training and TA Center for Addiction Recovery Peer Support
The National Peer-Run Training and Technical Assistance Center for Addiction Recovery Support aims to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to domestic public and private non-profit entities that deliver or support services for individuals facing substance use or co-occurring conditions. This program seeks to advance trauma-informed peer recovery support services and align with SAMHSA’s National Recovery Agenda. The goal is to enhance the nation's capacity to offer effective peer and recovery support services, filling the existing infrastructure gaps in TTA for addiction recovery. Eligible applicants are domestic public and private non-profit entities. The application deadline is July 22, 2024, with an anticipated award date by September 29, 2024. The total funding available is $1,900,000, with one award expected. The project period is up to five years, with annual continuation awards based on funding availability, progress, timely submission of required data, and compliance with award terms. Annual continuation awards will depend on the availability of funds, progress in meeting project goals and objectives, timely submission of required data and reports, and compliance with all terms and conditions of award.
