Workforce Safety Innovation Grant
This funding opportunity provides $30 million to support Ohio-based non-profits, universities, and tech schools in developing innovative personal protective equipment and technology to enhance workplace safety.
The Workforce Safety Innovation Grant offers $30 million in funding through the Workforce Safety Innovation Center® (WSIC) to support research and development of innovations in personal protective equipment (PPE) and personal protective technology (PPT) aimed at improving workplace safety in Ohio. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, universities, colleges, and tech schools based in Ohio. The application process requires eligible agencies to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply for Funding (NOIAF) along with a project abstract and all supplemental documentation by 5 p.m. ET on December 13, 2024. After the NOIAF is approved, agencies will receive initial authorization for internet submission. The project start date is July 1, 2025, and the project end date is June 30, 2027.
