This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations and partnerships in Chautauqua County to develop innovative childcare solutions that improve access and quality for families, particularly benefiting women and girls.
The Women’s Giving Circle of Chautauqua County, a program of the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, is offering funding in 2025 to support innovative childcare solutions aimed at improving the stability and earning potential of women. With up to $50,000 in total available funding, the grant opportunity seeks to enhance the availability, accessibility, and quality of childcare services for families across Chautauqua County. Priority will be given to proposals that focus on expanding childcare options across diverse settings, improving existing childcare program quality, or developing strategic collaborations that address the region’s childcare challenges. Organizations must serve Chautauqua County residents and demonstrate clear, measurable impacts on childcare access or opportunities. Interested applicants must first submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) by April 25, 2025. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a full application. An informational session will be held virtually on April 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. to assist prospective applicants in understanding the process and priorities. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, and partnerships or fiscally sponsored entities serving Chautauqua County women and girls. All applications must be completed and submitted online. For questions or assistance, applicants can contact Tory Irgang, Executive Director, or Lindsey Goold, Donor Services Officer, at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
