Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund

The Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund is managed by the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. This fund serves as a philanthropic resource dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in the Brillion, Wisconsin area. It is designed to support nonprofit organizations that address community needs in Brillion through thoughtful and impactful grantmaking. The Brillion Advisory Board, in conjunction with the Community Foundation, oversees the allocation of funds to ensure alignment with community priorities. The grant's primary objective is to preserve, strengthen, and improve life in the Brillion area by funding innovative and effective initiatives. These initiatives may include creative new activities or services such as events, exhibits, surveys, and one-time projects. The fund also supports enhancements to existing programs, helping to expand or improve the services organizations already offer. Furthermore, it allows for small capital investments directly related to service or program delivery—examples include equipment like a refrigerator for a food pantry or ADA compliance-related installations. Grant funding from the Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund is limited to $4,000 per award. The application window opens on May 1 and closes on July 1 at 11:59 p.m. Applicants must submit their proposals through the Foundation’s Grant Portal. Before applying, organizations are required to review the Foundation’s general grant policies to ensure eligibility. These policies cover key areas such as organizational eligibility, nondiscrimination, and guidelines regarding faith-based activities. Applications must be submitted via the online Grant Portal. New users should review the portal’s registration page, which includes FAQs and tutorials. Within the portal, applicants need to navigate to the “Apply” page and search for the Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund grant. The portal facilitates application submission and tracking. Organizations ineligible for funding include those not serving Brillion residents or those applying for general operational support not linked to a specific proposed project. The fund does not support initiatives that fall outside the Foundation’s stated grant policies.
