Arts Education Grants 2025

The Arts for Sullivan Arts Education Grants provide funding to nonprofit organizations and artists collaborating with schools or community partners to develop arts education programs in Sullivan County. Eligible projects, which may include disciplines like theater, music, dance, literary arts, folklore, and visual arts, must incorporate a structured curriculum with specific goals, timelines, and assessment tools. Programs can be offered either in-person or virtually. Independent artists are eligible to apply if they partner with a nonprofit organization in the county. Applicants may submit up to three grant requests, with a combined maximum total of $5,000. The deadline to apply for the 2025 grant cycle is Saturday, November 30, 2024. To support applicants, the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is hosting free informational workshops on grant writing, budgeting, and networking, with attendance required for first-time applicants and encouraged for previous grantees. These workshops will take place at various locations: October 2 at Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello, October 10 at Mamakating Library in Wurtsboro, October 30 on Zoom, and November 2 at New Memories in Parksville. Additionally, past applicants are advised to consult with DVAA’s Grants Manager, Tanner Simon, to determine whether their project is best suited for the Arts Education or Community Arts category.
