Grant Description

The City of Turlock’s Public Service Grants program, administered by the Housing Program Services (HPS) Division, provides annual funding to nonprofit organizations through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. These funds, allocated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), support activities benefiting low- to moderate-income individuals in Turlock. Eligible activities have included services for teen mothers, food assistance for low-income households, homeless services, and gang prevention programs in local schools. For Fiscal Year 2025-2026 (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026), funding applications will be available starting November 6, 2024, and must be submitted by December 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
