Community Catalyst Grant
This funding opportunity supports collaborative projects among nonprofit organizations in Central Florida that aim to improve community well-being in healthcare, education, or the arts.
The Parikh Giving Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports community improvement through targeted funding opportunities in healthcare, education, and the arts. Located in Central Florida, the Alliance emphasizes collaborative efforts and innovative programming that align with its mission of enhancing community well-being. It provides grants throughout the year and celebrates awardees at its biannual Changemakers Breakfasts, held in April and August. The Community Catalyst Grant, one of several funding options offered, is designed specifically to support collaborative initiatives between multiple nonprofit and community organizations. This grant focuses on joint projects that combine resources and expertise to develop innovative programs in the areas of healthcare, education, or the arts. The aim is to support partnerships that work collectively toward a shared mission and yield tangible community outcomes. Each grant provides $5,000 to the applying organization, with up to six grants awarded per cycle—two each in healthcare, education, and the arts. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with current 501(c)(3) status and must adhere to both federal and state compliance standards. While the grant is available more broadly, priority is given to projects that directly benefit communities in Central Florida. Only one grant per organization is awarded per cycle, although organizations may apply for multiple opportunities. Applications must be submitted between May 15 and July 15, 2025, by 5:00 PM. Finalists will be notified via email and awarded at the August Changemakers Breakfast. The application requires detailed responses to five core prompts covering collaboration details, project description, innovation, mission alignment, and impact measurement. Applicants must also submit key documentation, including their most recent Annual Impact Statement, IRS Determination Letter, and IRS 990 form. A digital signature is required to finalize submission. Evaluation criteria focus on the clarity and strength of collaboration among partners, the innovation of the proposed initiative, its alignment with Parikh Giving Alliance's mission, and the feasibility and measurability of anticipated outcomes. Grant recipients will be expected to complete an annual impact report within 30 days of receipt. To remain engaged, applicants are encouraged to join the organization’s Collaboration Circle and attend community events. For inquiries or technical support, applicants should refer to contact details provided in the application portal or reach out through the Alliance’s social media channels. The Parikh Giving Alliance maintains active communication on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook to keep the community informed and involved.
