Pumpout Grant Program

The Pumpout Grant Program, established under the Clean Vessel Act of 1992, aims to reduce pollution from boat sewage discharges by funding the construction, renovation, and maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for pleasure boats. Grants cover up to 75% of installation costs for new or upgraded equipment, including necessary pumps, piping, holding tanks, and dock modifications. The program is open to both public and private sector entities that operate boating facilities accessible to the general boating public.
