Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation Impact Grant 2025
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public entities for initiatives that improve health, wellness, and disease prevention in nine counties across Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, with a focus on sustainable, long-term impacts.
The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation (LCVHF) offers its 2025 Impact Grant Program to support one-year initiatives that enhance health, wellness, and disease prevention across the Foundation’s designated service area. The Foundation’s funding principles align with the religious, ethical, and moral directives of the Roman Catholic Church, adhering specifically to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. The service area spans nine counties across three states: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce counties in Idaho; Asotin, Garfield, and Whitman counties in Washington; and Wallowa County in Oregon. This grant program targets larger-scale projects and provides funding between $25,000 and $100,000. It prioritizes applications that aim for long-term impacts and those addressing the root causes affecting public health. Eligible proposals may include new programs or support for existing efforts that address critical areas such as access to health care, mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, housing, and more. The Foundation seeks to back organizations with a clear vision and measurable outcomes that demonstrate sustainable impact within their communities. Eligible applicants must be Qualified Organizations. These include tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing with the IRS and certain government or public organizations described under IRC sections 170(c)(1) or 511(a)(2)(B). All applicants must ensure grant funds are used strictly for charitable purposes, and the Foundation does not fund endowments, scholarships, fundraising events, operational deficits, debt retirement, sub-grants, discriminatory programs, or multi-year projects. The application opens on May 1, 2025, and the final submission deadline is June 30, 2025. Applicants are encouraged to prepare and save their work by requesting login credentials in advance. All documentation, including financial and organizational information, must be uploaded in PDF format. Final grant decisions will be made by the Foundation Trustee with notifications sent before October 31, 2025. The application process requires a comprehensive set of information, including detailed descriptions of the project, target populations, intended outcomes, budget allocations, and evidence of need. Applicants must explain how the proposed activities align with the Foundation’s mission, describe partnerships, provide a calendar of activities, and include mechanisms for evaluation and impact measurement. If previously funded by LCVHF, organizations must also provide updates on prior outcomes and justify the need for continued funding. For questions or support, applicants may contact the Foundation via email at info@lewisclarkhealth.org or call 208-664-6448. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted online, and a confirmation email will follow upon submission.
