Texoma Community Foundation Grant 2025-2026
This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations serving residents in Fannin County, Texas, with a focus on improving mental health, healthcare access, and increasing the number of nurses in the area.
The Texoma Health Foundation (TCF) has opened its 2025-2026 grant season beginning June 2, 2025. This funding opportunity is supported in part by the Fannin County Hospital Authority (FCHA), with the goal of improving the health and well-being of residents in the Foundation’s designated service area. TCF serves as the fiduciary agent of the FCHA Fund and prioritizes support for programs addressing mental health, wellness, and healthcare access, particularly for those physically located in or serving Fannin County, Texas. This grant opportunity is structured in a three-step process. First, applicants must complete Phase 1 of the application. Those deemed eligible will receive an invitation to proceed to the full grant application. Finally, award decisions and public announcements will be made upon review of the completed applications. Applications are due by August 28, 2025, and must be submitted via the Foundation’s online Grant Portal. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations, including 501(c)(3) entities, churches, schools, and other community-based agents. Crucially, all applicant organizations must serve residents within the four-county region of Marshall, Bryan, Grayson, or Fannin counties. TCF prioritizes proposals that align with one or both of the following funding priorities: increasing or retaining the number of nurses in the four counties, and improving access to mental health, general healthcare, or healthy living. Projects addressing both priorities will be given particular consideration. Grant award amounts vary, but the average grant size awarded is $20,758. Funding decisions are based on alignment with TCF’s mission, geographic service criteria, and strategic impact in the identified priority areas. Past grant recipients include a diverse group of organizations such as Greater Texoma Health Clinic, Grayson College Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Red River Valley, and Fannin County Children’s Center, with awards ranging from $3,000 to over $145,000. For more information or assistance with the application process, interested parties may contact Angela Sharp, Grants Officer, via email at Team@YourTCF.org or by phone at 903-337-0755.
