The Arts for Sullivan Community Arts Grants provide funding to support nonprofit organizations in Sullivan County aiming to create or present arts, cultural, and heritage projects, which can be in-person or virtual. Eligible projects span a wide range of art forms, including theatre, music, dance, literary arts, visual arts, and more. Independent artists may also apply by working with a local nonprofit as a fiscal sponsor.
Applicants may apply for up to three grants, with a maximum total request of $5,000. The deadline for 2025 funding applications is Saturday, November 30, 2024.
To assist applicants, Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) will host free informational workshops, both online and in-person, focusing on effective grant writing, budgeting, idea generation, and networking. Attendance is required for first-time applicants and encouraged for previous grantees. Workshop dates and locations include:
October 2, 2024, 4:30–5:30 pm at Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library, Monticello, NY
October 10, 2024, 6–7 pm at Mamakating Library, Wurtsboro, NY
October 30, 2024, 6–7 pm via Zoom
November 2, 2024, 12–1 pm at New Memories, Parksville, NY
