The Field Hall Foundation, based in New York, supports initiatives aimed at improving the lives of older adults and their caregivers, particularly within Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties. Its mission prioritizes addressing the basic needs of low-income individuals aged 60 and above, as well as unpaid caregivers. Applicants are required to complete a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) and a cover sheet, using a specific format: black, 12-point Times New Roman font, limited to two pages for the LOI plus the cover sheet. The LOI must be submitted as a Word document or a read/write PDF. Submissions not adhering to these formatting guidelines will not be accepted. Application materials must include an introduction to the applicant organization, outlining its mission, staffing, uniqueness, recognitions, and services. The proposal should also address the need in the community, how the project will address it, the number of people impacted, overall funding, and how the requested funds will be allocated. The grant period runs from November 2025 to October 2026, though applicants may request an alternative timeline with justification.
Previous recipients may apply again only if one year has passed since the last grant was received and the final report has been submitted and accepted. Typically, due to the volume of grants awarded, the Foundation does not consider repeat applicants until approximately two years after a previous grant has been issued.
