Eligible applicants are exempt governmental units or charitable organizations under Section 501(c)(3). Applications are submitted through an online grant application form or an alternative accessible application. The foundation does not make grants directly to individuals and notes that while no geographic limits apply, giving is focused on the Piedmont region.
