Hospital Preparedness-IMERT 2025
This funding is designed to ensure the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team remains fully prepared to provide medical assistance during disasters, while also enhancing community training and collaboration with other emergency preparedness agencies.
The Hospital Preparedness-IMERT 2025 grant is intended to maintain and promote the continual 24/7 readiness of the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team (IMERT). The team provides deployable medical assistance during disasters or emergencies throughout Illinois, enhances community awareness through education and training, and collaborates with other preparedness agencies to improve the state's overall response capabilities. The grant will be used to support IMERT's operational infrastructure, training programs, and equipment readiness. The funding period is from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
