Agricultural Innovation Grant

If the applicant is not the property owner or a direct family member, a signed rental agreement must accompany the application. The grant funds can be used for research and development, construction or renovation of production buildings, major equipment, and processing facilities. Grant recipients must submit monthly Expense Substantiation Forms along with supporting documentation until all awarded funds have been fully expended. These forms are due by the 30th of each month during the grant's lifecycle. The program does not currently have an open application period, with the next cycle scheduled to open in March 2026. As part of the evaluation process, projects are scored using a published rubric, with consideration given to the clarity and potential economic impact of the proposal.
