Grant Description

The Target Funding – Rapid Response Grant is administered by Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) to provide emergency financial support of up to $15,000 to qualified nonprofits in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This one-time funding opportunity is specifically intended to offset the effects of sudden government grant loss or significant reimbursement delays, ensuring continuity in delivering vital behavioral health and human service programs for children, young adults, and families. This funding mechanism is available until June 30, 2026, and may be renewed at the discretion of the FCP Board. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. To be eligible, organizations must have previously received at least two grants from FCP, be in good standing (i.e., all reporting complete), and operate within Bucks County. Organizations must also be classified as 501(c)(3) nonprofits under IRS Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2). Applicants are required to submit official documentation from a federal or state agency verifying either a cancellation of funding or a delay in reimbursement for a minimum of six months. This documentation must specifically demonstrate the impact on ongoing programs or services. For instance, funding may be used to cover salaries or operational costs for programs affected by state or federal funding cuts. All applications must be submitted via FCP’s FOUNDANT platform and undergo a due diligence review, including verification through GuideStar, financial review, and potentially a follow-up meeting with FCP. Ineligible applicants include those without the required nonprofit classification or those not serving Bucks County residents. Projects must align with the “Community Mental Health” concept and should include specific, measurable goals and a detailed budget. There are no restrictions on the use of grant funds, including capital, personnel, or programmatic expenses, provided they support the continuity of disrupted services. For questions, applicants are encouraged to contact FCP at info@fcpartnership.org or by phone at (267) 247-5584. This is a one-time funding opportunity per organization for this cycle.
