GCAC Mural Assistance Grant for Artists in Ohio

The Mural Assistance Grant provides partial funding to support the creation of exterior murals in Franklin County. This grant is aimed at working artists who have secured a specific mural location and partial funding from a commissioning organization. Eligibility: Who Can Apply: Must be a working artist, aged 18 or older, as demonstrated by resume and work samples. Must have lived in Franklin County or a bordering county for at least one year prior to applying. Must not be a degree-seeking undergraduate student. Artists who received a Mural Assistance grant in Spring 2024 are not eligible, but 2023 grantees can reapply. Eligible Projects: The mural location must be in Franklin County, visible to the public, and outside the Downtown District of Columbus. A contract or letter of intent is required between the artist(s) and the commissioning organization, outlining the mural's location and total compensation. The commissioning organization must commit to providing at least $500 in funding towards the mural.
