Impact Grant

Northern Colorado United for Youth (NOCO UNIFY) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering child-focused nonprofits throughout Northern Colorado. With a strong emphasis on supporting organizations in Larimer and Weld Counties, NOCO UNIFY aims to amplify the positive impact of local nonprofits on youth communities through financial support. Their grants are awarded through a structured annual cycle and are intended to fund substantial initiatives that address growth, infrastructure, or collaborative community efforts. NOCO UNIFY offers two distinct grant tracks: the Impact Grant and the Sustainable Fund Grant. This description pertains to the Impact Grant, which is intended to provide significant financial contributions for major capital needs, essential infrastructure, or collaborative projects that bring together multiple organizations to generate exponential benefits for the community. The Impact Grant prioritizes one-time needs that reflect an organization's growth or expansion and that enhance long-term operational capability. To be eligible, applicants must be IRS-designated 501(c)(3) nonprofits whose primary focus is on youth in Northern Colorado, specifically in Larimer or Weld Counties. Organizations must also demonstrate financial stability. Applications must be completed in full to be reviewed by the NOCO UNIFY Charity Review Committee. The application window for 2026 Impact Grant funding opens on November 1, 2025, and closes on December 5, 2025. Following the submission period, beneficiaries will be announced during the UNIFY Annual Meeting, which typically occurs in late January or early February. The awarded funds will be delivered during that same Annual Meeting. Applications must include a copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) exemption letter and clear evidence of the project’s purpose, expected impact, and how the funds will be used. Funding amounts typically range from $20,000 to $100,000 and may exceed 20% of an organization's annual budget depending on the scale and scope of the proposed initiative.
