Proposal Development Award

The Proposal Development Award Program, offered by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, aims to assist Michigan-based, nonprofit community organizations in developing and submitting health-related grants. Recognizing that many nonprofits lack the resources to hire grant writers, this award provides up to $3,500 to fund the contracting of grant writers for creating and submitting proposals to various funders, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, Michigan Health Endowment Fund, local community foundations, Health Resources and Services Administration, and others. The award is dedicated to proposal development costs such as technical assistance and freelance proposal writers.
